Well, for all of us who have been waiting for the past six weeks or so, the wait is over. Today, Gateworld.net announced their partnership with the Stargate: Horizon site in what is called the Gateworld Network. With this, many potential fans have now been introduced to SG:H, which ultimately the reader count and the forum activity. This is good for Destiny as well, as traffic in the Horizon forum will notice the Stargate: Destiny thread, hopefully leading them here. This is a historic day for SG:H, and maybe once Destiny starts to air, the people at Horizon can convince gateworld to let Destiny become part of the network as well.

Ya know I'm both excited and disappointed about this. They seem to want everything to take place at Gateworld, I would have much prefered tons more activity on the official forum but then again its nice they're getting recognition and lots of plugs.

Well, for a while, we were all urging them to do something at gateworld, and I had suspected that the announcement would be something distributed to several sites (eg. SG-1 Solutions, SG1 Archive), but hey, one is ok too. I mean, within the first 45 minutes or so of the announcement being made, the Horizon forum got 6 new members. We'll just have to sit back and see.
